
Geert, Managing Director of Service2Media, brings with him over 18 years of experience within management, sales, R&D and operations in the IT and telecom segment. Prior to Service2Media, he spent 12 years with CMG and later LogicaCMG Wireless Networks Division, a leading provider of mobile messaging and data solutions. He worked as a Sales Director, Senior Vice President R&D and Operations and Executive Vice President Mobile Internet and Messaging. And as one of the early pioneers, Geert significantly contributed to build the CMG Wireless Networks division to a global leader in mobile messaging and data solutions with more then 200 customers and a revenue of Euro 300 million in revenue. Before joining CMG, he spent 6 years with Proftech Systems, an industrial automation company in various management and engineering positions.
Peter, Marketing Director of Service2Media, has over 13 years experience in the IT and telecommunications industry. Prior to Service2Media, he worked with CMG and LogicaCMG for 11 years. In his last position he was the Vice President Marketing and Strategy within Wireless Networks. Peter has served the global mobile telecommunications industry with messaging and mobile data solutions in management, strategic marketing, product management, business development and market communications. In these roles, Peter has demonstrated the ability to drive new products, such as the Multimedia Messaging Service Centre (MMSC), from initial concept to commercial success. He was also leader of the CMG product management team that defined the world’s first global 3G messaging solution. Peter has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Twente.
Marcel Roorda, Operations Director of Service2Media, found his roots in the IT business in 1988. And for 6 years he too worked in telecommunications at CMG and LogicaCMG Wireless Networks. Marcel’s last responsibility was Global Programme Director for Vodafone. Prior roles were Managing Director of the Product Development Centre in Enschede and VP Global System Integration. Marcel has many accomplishments in development and operations. He was for example responsible for the delivery of a high-performance SMSC in 2 months, and a WAP gateway in 3 months. He introduced processes and organizations around multi-site development, system integration and interoperability testing for mobile devices. Before CMG, Marcel had technical director positions in Supernova and Passport.
Mark Offenberg, commercial director at Service2Media, has more then 20 years of sales experience in several branches. For the last fourteen years, Mark has been the owner and leading director of his own publishing and marketing company. Next to his own ‘glossy’ magazine, with an overall expansion in the whole country, his company is also responsible for delivering a variety of services and products to well known brands, such as PON, Free Record Shop, AKO and several partner publishers. Before starting his own company, Mark worked as an International Area Manager at O’Neill for four years. Within this international outdoor fashion company he was responsible for sales and marketing in more than 20 European countries. Mark is trained in holistic thinking, and does such on a national as well as international level. This enables him to share and advise in all fields of product-, market- and sales development.
Lisette, Director UK of Service2Media, has over 15 years experience in the IT and Telecommunications industry. She worked in sales leadership positions for two leading US software companies out of London. Most recently at Vignette, a leader in web experience management, delivery and content management she was responsible as Director Channels and Alliances for the European Partner Program. At Electronics for Imaging (EFI), a market leader in the imaging software industry, she had the overall responsibility for the UK, Ireland and South Africa. Lisette started her career at Royal KPN where she held several sales leadership positions. In her last position as Vice President Partner Program she was responsible for building out the European channel and alliances business for KPN’s international broadband activities.
Lisette holds a MBA degree in International Business and Marketing from the University of Oregon, USA and an undergraduate business degree from Nijenrode University in the Netherlands.
Bart, after 17 years in ‘conservative’ advertising, had just changed course to the new media when he met Service2Media in 2005. This resulted directly in an intensive cooperation and later in joining the company, now picturing the mobile as center of daily life in a cross media world. Bart has a breath of experience working as a creative for advertisement agencies, including TBWA/Floor Heijn Retail, TBWA/Designers Company, Lintas Amsterdam, Cream Willemstad, MCP and HPMG. He has worked for many clients in several markets: Atari, Canon, Toshiba (Electronics), ING (Finance), Superunie (Food), Wilhelmina Kinderziekenhuis (Healthcare), Yamanochi (Pharma), Het Nederlands Zuivel Instituut (Government) and WoltersNoordhof (Education). He visited Art schools in Arnhem and Utrecht (with PPGH/JWT) and has been creative director at Arcade Europe (Music) and Spring Communications (Pharma).
Johan, business development director at Service2Media, has been operating in ICT since 1997, of which the last eight years in mobile telecommunications. Before joining Service2Media, he founded and managed one of the most innovative mobile service companies in the Dutch market: Mobile Broadcast Company, in short MBC, formerly known as PIM interactive media. In this role Johan has demonstrated to be able to bring a company new concepts and projects, from idea to commercial success. With his broad experience and expertise in the field of crossmedia mobile concepts, Johan is well-equipped to discuss and recommend mobile strategies and develop associated operational propositions and services. Johan studied International Business at Delta University and has chosen to be an entrepreneur right from the start of his career.
