Läkerol in mobile marketing with comedy video clips

Läkerol in mobile marketing with comedy video clips

Läkerol packages contain a code that users can send via SMS. In return the user receives a mobile application or mobile mini site on the phone and has a chance to win a night out; a Comedy Night with comedian Rou Verveer, especially for the winner and 50 friends.

The fundamental element in this action is the repeat; each week a free automatic download link is sent to each participant with a new clip. When he accepts the link he can view a short video of Rou Verveer on the mobile phone.

On the mobile action site participants can also create their own profile and save points. With suffient points they can order a free DVD of a show of Rou.

Because of the interesting incentive, a “Comedy Night for you and your friends”, many consumers will participate and try Lkerol. SMS is easy to use and the repeated offering of something interesting will strengthen the ‘mobile relation’ with the Lkerol users.

The campaign is supported by a television commercial and online newsletters. Lkerol will also be present via billboards and a “take over” of various programmes. In addition, the mobile action will be communicated on the shop floor.

SMS “lach” to 5522 to receive the application.

Going backstage with Idols Mobile Magazine

Going backstage with Idols Mobile Magazine

New in Idols Mobile Magazine: all candidates carry mobile phones with which they create their own diary, including pictures and stories logged throughout the day. This unique user generated content makes viewers experience Idols much more intimately.

After the success of the X FACTOR Mobile Magazine that Service2Media introduced for RTL Nederland in 2006, Idols IV Mobile Magazine takes the concept to a higher level.

The Idols Mobile Magazine invites the viewer backstage and offers the viewer unique and exclusive content not showed on TV or the Internet. The Idols Mobile Magazine enables the user to access – anytime and anywhere – relevant information about the program, candidates, latest news, high quality pictures and video streams, and the fastquiz. Furthermore, the user can vote for their favorite candidate and order ringtones or wallpapers within the integrated mobile shop.

The most attractive feature of the Mobile Magazine is the ability to view the personal diaries of the candidates. The candidates have received free mobile phones (sponsored by Belcompany) with a special version of the Mobile Magazine installed. With this version they can create and upload their own personal content like pictures, videos and text. The diaries can be viewed exclusively by users of the Idols Mobile Magazine and are updated daily by the candidates themselves.

Exposure of the Idols Mobile Magazine was given live on TV, built into the format.

CNN’s Planet in Peril goes mobile worldwide

CNN’s Planet in Peril goes mobile worldwide

Service2Media developed a worldwide mobile version of the Planet in Peril website for CNN, including the interactive concepts ‘I-report’, ‘Impact Your World’ and ‘Quickvote’. Planet in Peril is a CNN documentary that examines our changing planet.

The worldwide investigation looks at four key issues: climate change, vanishing habitats, disappearing species and human population growth. The goal of CNN is to get maximum exposure for the changing of the planet. CNN now offers a cross media concept, including a mobile site.

The mobile site is accessible in all 193 countries where CNN is broadcasted. Service2Media created extra functionality by implementing the CNN concepts ‘I-report’, ‘Impact Your World’ and ‘Quickvote’ for the mobile phone. With I-report users can upload their own photos, videos, stories or questions about the issues addressed in Planet in Peril. Impact Your World offers the user resources to help save the planet by presenting links to charity programs and even donate to that charity from their mobile phone. With Quickvote users can directly respond to a proposition.

“It’s one of the most important new stories of our time, and its breaking right now.”

CNN takes viewers around the world in two parts, four hour documentary that examines our changing planet. This worldwide investigation, shot in high definition, looks at four key issues: climate change, vanishing habitats, disappearing species and human population growth.

To tell this story, Anderson Cooper, Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Animal Planet’s Jeff Corwin traveled to some of the most remote and remarkable places on Earth. From exposing illegal wildlife trading undercover in Southeast Asia to seeing first-hand the devastating effects of deforestation in Brazil, they have gathered evidence on the unsettling changes taking place all around us.

KPN’s Mobile Museum Guide helps you through the night

KPN’s Mobile Museum Guide helps you through the night

Like last year, KPN’s Mobile Museum Guide accompanies n8 2007 visitors on their cultural expedition during the Museum Night (n8) in Amsterdam.

The KPN Mobile Museum guide offers all the information visitors need concerning the 42 participating museums and their activities, an interactive map of Amsterdam, night sounds, opening hours and news always at hand on your mobile phone.

Locations of the museums are found in the Mobile Museum Guide by using the map or the n8 museum index. The agenda offers an overview to the n8 visitors where and when activities are taking place.

In addition, KPN n8 access points are deployed. The KPN n8 access points are located in De Bazel and offer extra information about special objects in the n8 Mobile Museum Guide by using Bluetooth communication. Like last year, a n8 knowledge quiz is implemented and offers great prizes.

New this year in the Mobile Museum Guide is the blog option and n8 sounds. Using the blog option the user is kept up-to-date with the latest news on the participating museums. Furthermore, he can listen to different museum night sounds. n8 sounds are mobile audio guides for museums in Amsterdam.

KPN and Service2Media, the creator of the service, intend to bring a new stimulus for young people to visit museums with the KPN Mobile Museum Guide. The guide is especially developed to make museum visits more appealing to this generation, who is accustomed to gather information digitally.

The free KPN Museum Guide can be downloaded from 23 October via www.n8.nl/mobiel or by sending the SMS text “n8″ to 4628. On 3 November the guide is updated with even more specific n8 information.

Service2Media launches Volkswagen Mobile

Service2Media launches Volkswagen Mobile

Service2Media introduces a ‘mobile guide’ with which one can receive various services on the mobile phone, such as taking a look at a route via the route planner, traffic information and weather. This service is exclusively developed for Volkswagen customers under the name Volkswagen Mobile.

It is the first time that a car manufacturer offers such a service for the mobile device. New in Volkswagen Mobile is that users can retrieve all available information via one integrated application.

Mark Offenberg, Sales Director of Service2Media: “Together with Volkswagen we have looked at which information the Volkswagen customer likes to have at hand. And that on the mobile phone, because nowadays hardly anyone leaves home without mobile phone. The beauty of Volkswagen Mobile is that the user determines when to ask for information and does not have to wait for information broadcasted via the radio. In addition the driver can tune the service completely to their own preferences by selecting a few heavily used preference roads for example. Only the traffic jams on these roads are then shown under ‘My traffic jams’. In contradiction to traffic information numbers the information in the Mobile Guide is provided without cost. Together with Volkswagen we believe to have introduced a unique service on the mobile.
